ANNUAL MEETING AGENDA
- 9:30 am - Coffee and conversation.
- 10:00 am - Election of new Board members results
- Update on chapter events for the past year
- Update on goals and events planned for coming year
- Update on renewable energy and legislation in Kansas and Missouri.
- 12:00 noon - Break for lunch on your own.
- 12:45 pm - WORKSHOP - $20 for members. $30 for non-members
Field trip - Demonstration of a home energy audit and blower door test
The Workshop we will take a field trip to a nearby home that has had a comprehensive home energy audit performed. You will see the audit tools in action (blower door, combustion safety testing, infrared imaging), learn what to expect from a home energy audit, and talk to the owner to find out the improvement opportunities discovered and learn how much energy was actually saved by the improvements made.
There are utility, state, and federal programs available to help you save energy and lower your energy usage right now. These programs will be discussed as well. Energy efficiency is the first step toward renewable energy. Lowering your consumption and energy needs could bring the renewable system you would like to have within your grasp! Join us for this very educational session. You will drive yourself to the Workshop Field Trip and leave for home from there. Carpool if you can!
